Marinade
2 pounds boneless chicken breast (cut into medium sized pieces)
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup ginger and garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon cumin
salt and pepper to taste
red food coloring (optional)
Mix all marinade ingredients and let chicken marinade one hour.
Cook chicken in baking pan at 350 until done.
Gravy
Onion 1-2 chopped
2 TB cooking oil
small can tomato paste
ginger and garlic paste - 4 teaspoons
turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
coriander powder - 4 tespoons
garam masala powder - 4 tsp
1 stick butter
Heat oil in pan.
Fry onions till they turn golden brown.
Add butter.
Add ginger and garlic paste and let them fry until the oil separates.
Add masala powders and then add tomato paste.
Let gravy come to a boil.
Add cooked chicken with juices and serve.
